We invite you to join us for the biggest and best yet Trentham Irish Set-Dancing Weekend
at the Mechanics Institute Hall, 66 High St, Trentham, Victoria
Friday night from 7pm:
Meet and Greet with music and informal set dancing at the Pig & Whistle, East Trentham
Saturday and Sunday all day:
Set-dancing workshops with Kirsty and Richard Greenwood, Ina Bertrand and Marie Brouder
Saturday dinner at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, High St, Trentham
Two set-dance ceilis (Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon) with the fabulous Melbourne Ceili Band
Fee: $85 for full weekend, range of other registration options available
Accommodation: House sharing, B&Bs, cottages, limited billeting (not included in cost)

Saturday, 17 January:
Dancing at Trentham Mechanics' Institute, 66 High St Trentham (opposite Bowen St).
The Mechanics Institute is located towards the east end (Tylden/Woodend side) of High St, on the north side of the road, opposite the intersection with Bowen St.

09.30-10.00 `Ballyvourney Basics’ easy warm-up workshop with Kirsty and Richard Greenwood
10.00-1.00 pm Workshop. Includes half hour tea break.
1.00-2.00 Lunch (provide your own or see attached local information for local cafes/foodstores)
2.00-4.00 Workshop. Includes short break.
Or choose other options for Saturday afternoon:
One-hour historical Trentham walk guided by Ina; or try other walks, eg Trentham to Lyonville track; Wombat Forest; Trentham Falls; visit local shops, cafes and gourmet establishments, gourmet treats such as Daylesford Chocolate Mill, the Daylesford-Hepburn Springs Spa resorts, or enjoy a local wine at the nostalgic `Radio Springs’, Lyonville.
5.30 pm Drinks and 6.00 pm Dinner at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, High Street, Trentham

Drinks can be purchased at bar. Dinner: 2 course, alternate plate drop of chicken or fish, or pre-ordered vegetarian/dietary-requirement dishes, plus dessert & tea or coffee (cost included in registration). The venue is limited to 70 people, so be quick if you’d like to register for this option to dine with the main group.
8.00-12.00 am Mechanics’ Institute Hall: Set Dance Ceili with the Melbourne Ceili Band
